A Poetry Reading from Elaine Cagulada

Join Elaine Cagulada, SJE Alumna and Research Officer for Disability Matters, and friends for an evening journeying into the ineffability of grief. This poetry reading debuts work from Elaine鈥檚 book-in-progress, 鈥楴eda.鈥 The piece honours her late mother, Zenaida 鈥 Neda who breathed her last and continued on two years ago. In 鈥楴eda,鈥 a daughter tries, gently, to respond to her most cherished words from her mother: 鈥淚 love you, my darling.鈥
* Tranzac Club is located 80 meters from Bloor Street at 292 Brunswick Ave. The front door of Tranzac is stair-free and push-button operated. Once inside, stair-free, to the Living Room where the Poetry reading will happen. Washrooms are all-gender and stair-free.
