Featuring OISE Professors Lance McCready and Jen Gilbert. Together, this panel will examine how policy shapes lived experiences of sexuality, gender, health, and belonging. Their work sheds light on the critical importance of research on reproductive rights and LGBTQ+ communities during a time when federal policies are actively restricting bodily autonomy, gender recognition, and access to healthcare and education.

This year’s conference theme, Generative Hope: Possibilities in Education Research, is inspired by a sustainability ethos embodied by advocates of hope including bell hooks, Paolo Freire, Rebecca Solnit, Jane Goodall, and more.
