The 2026 Master of Teaching Research Conference (MTRC) will take place on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at OISE, University of Toronto. This annual event remains a cornerstone of the Master of Teaching (MT) program, providing a vibrant platform for research dissemination, professional growth, and academic engagement for our future teacher candidates and the wider MT community.

The conference will begin with a Welcome Address from OISE and CTL leadership, followed by a Keynote Address by Athena Tassis, MT alum and current PhD candidate at OISE, whose research focuses on Artificial Intelligence, Educational Technology, and Instructional Design.

The program will feature Year 2 students presenting their research papers in morning and afternoon sessions, while Year 1 students will participate in the 3-Minute Research Competition, highlighting their emerging inquiries. The day will conclude with a Closing Ceremony and Reception for Year 2 students in the OISE Library.

The MTRC is open to all students in the Master of Teaching program and the MT community, continuing our tradition of supporting and celebrating the research contributions of our teacher candidates.
