Dean Erica Walker and the OISE community want to emphasize U of T's commitment to inclusion, excellence, diversity, and access. OISE stands with the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and remains steadfast in our commitment to building safe and welcoming learning environments for all.Â
In July 2023, Rijeka, Croatia, hosted a week-long conference that brought together over 50 international scholars, educators, activists, and practitioners to share insights on preventing sexual and gender-based violence. Led by OISE professor Miglena Todorova and doctoral student Nana Gulic, the event aimed to transcend national borders.
Dr. Sachdeva, who successfully defended her doctoral dissertation, placed second at the 2023 Three-Minute Thesis competition (3MT) this past spring.
