Biography

Rory's Ph.D thesis was accepted by the school of graduate studies in November of 2025, and he will participate in U of T's June convocation. In his work, he uses his skills in Tibetan to facilitate conversations with traditionally trained Tibetan and Himalayan teachers of Buddhism about traditional knowledge, cross-cultural adaptation, and monastic education.
