Biography

Meagan is a EdD student examining ²Ñé³Ù¾±²õ-specific conceptualizations of mental health in rural Ontario with a focus on ²Ñé³Ù¾±²õ Nation of Ontario (MNO) Region 7. Her work employs a qualitative and community-informed approach grounded in Two-Eyed Seeing to engage ²Ñé³Ù¾±²õ Elders and Knowledge Keepers in identifying culturally welcoming psychotherapy practices. This data will be analyzed to develop practitioner guidelines that support ²Ñé³Ù¾±²õ self-determination and culturally competent care.
