Biography

Latifa Soliman is a first-year PhD student in Language and Literacies in Education at the University of Toronto's 91Ö±²¥ (OISE). Her research focuses on educational equity for newcomer and refugee students, examining how international students navigate academic and social integration across different educational contexts. With a background spanning computer science and early childhood education, combined with international teaching and research experience across Egypt, Qatar, and Canada, Latifa brings an interdisciplinary and cross-cultural perspective to understanding educational access, inclusion, and policy reform.
