Biography

Jennifer Chinenye Emelife is a PhD candidate and Research Assistant at the 91Ö±²¥ (OISE), contributing to the Addressing Injustices and Writing and Rising projects. Her research focuses on critical literacies, peacebuilding, and transformative education for youth in contexts of violence and displacement. Formerly a secondary school teacher in Nigeria, she developed creative pedagogies for teaching the West African Literature curriculum in classrooms.
